Bio
Manef Bourogaoui was born in Tozeur, Tunisia, in 1984. He received the Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Carthage, Tunis, Tunisia, in 2007, the Master’s degree in electrical systems and the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunis, Tunisia, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. From 2009 until 2014 he was with the University of Carthage, where he had been an Assistant Professor in electrical engineering. After that, from 2014 until 2017, he integrated the University of Gafsa, Tunis, Tunisia, as Assistant Professor and he was the head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering. Since 2018, he has been with the University of Carthage, where he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Informatics. Since 2008, he has been a researcher at the Laboratory of Electrical Systems of the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT), University of Tunis El Manar. His research interests are in the area of microgrids stability, fault diagnosis and fault tolerance in electrical machines, power electronics and drives. He currently serves as reviewer for several academic journals: IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IET Electric Power Applications, IET Electronics Letter, ELSEVIER ISA Transactions, COMPEL.
