Research Area

My previous research activities concentrated on various aspects of electric power and energy systems, smart grids, renewable energy integration and electric vehicles (EVs) including planning and bio-inspired optimization. Another key interest was to create demand-side management (DSM) algorithms that optimally balance the benefits of both the customers and the utilities. I also had a keen interest in the formation of dynamic pricing schemes to be deployed in electric vehicle charging.
